Well everything has been going super smoothly until yesterday. Really just a minor set back. Part of the lapro-scopic surgery involved going through my belly button. The visiting nurses had checked every time and it was good. Last week the surgical tape finally feel off. Then a few days ago it started getting really really itchy.
Yesterday before I got in the shower I looked at it in the mirror. It was all red and looked like there was some yellow liquid leaking. Panic. Ran down to med express, since it was a Sunday. Doctor said it was a skin infection. She gave me an anti fungal cream to put on twice a day. And some oral antibiotics. Oh well, not too bad.
